ISGLOBAL is a global alliance of academic, governmental and philanthropic organisations that work in relation to social health and healthcare from an international perspective, with a special emphasis on reducing inequalities in the state of health of different populations around the world.
In the face of the new Sustainable Development Goals, the alliance proposes to change current cooperation models. In this video, the Director of Analysis and Global Development, Rafael Vilasanjuan, explains that economic transfers are an obsolete model, which should be replaced by knowledge transfers.
In his opinion, the challenge is to achieve global cooperation, not simply rich countries sending funds to poor ones. He proposes a collaborative cooperation between all states.
